Climate Care Program – preliminary launch now live!

After two years in the making, we're proud to announce the groundbreaking Climate Care Program has launched with a preliminary cohort of clinics from across Australia!

Created by vets and vet nurses, the Climate Care Program aims to empower vet teams to take the lead on environmental sustainability and help bring a halt to climate change.

During this preliminary launch phase, VfCA will be working with over 20 clinics – ranging from small general practices to specialist referral and emergency hospitals – to further refine the program and hopefully spread the word far and wide, in anticipation of an official launch in Spring 2022.

There’s lots that vet teams can do to work more sustainably, and the Climate Care Program provides the tools and knowledge to successfully integrate solutions into day-to-day veterinary practice. Together we can do so much.

A big thank you to all the fantastic volunteers, staff and board members, and our wonderful donors, who have all played a part in getting the Climate Care Program to this milestone. Our planet, it's people and – of course – it's animals, thank YOU!

Stay tuned for more exciting updates as we head towards our Spring 2022 launch date...
