Call on Victoria to match NSW EPA carbon ‘pollution’ focus
Vets for Climate Action backed the NSW draft plan, saying: “Climate change is already having a devastating impact on our environment and native species like the koala.
“The 2019/2022 bushfires killed billions of animals, insects and birds. The floods earlier this year killed livestock, pets and wildlife. Heat stress and drought take a massive toll too."
“We have to ensure our governments and agencies like the EPA are doing all they can to ensure emissions are being reduced. This announcement is an important part of that process.”
