A really tangible way to make a difference this ZerOctober is to recycle all your cans and bottles and reduce your waste. 

This will:

- reduce landfill (reducing the need to clear animal habitat)

- reduce energy use (and decreasing our carbon emissions) and

- prevent the contamination of our land and oceans by rubbish, protecting our wildlife and environment. 

It's as easy as:

A. Advise your team and community

B. Label a Recycling Bin to collect eligible Bottles & Cans (HERE are some we prepared earlier!)

C. Select a Cause you Care about (like Vets for Climate Action!)

D. Donate the proceeds!

This can be done pretty simply through the relevant program in your state. 

By collecting containers in at home or in your workplace and donating the proceeds to Vets for Climate Action, you're helping to promote sustainable veterinary care, advocate for climate action and protecting biodiversity!
