ZerOctober: Competitive Waste Collection!
Spogomi is an innovative sport that transforms rubbish pickup into an exciting competitive activity! Created in Japan, the tag line is "Trash pick up is sport!" to make rubbish collection more engaging and to raise awareness about waste. There is even a World Cup!
You can learn more about Spogomi here but, basically, teams of 3 people compete to collect the most rubbish within a designated area and time limit, with points awarded based on the amount and types of waste collected.
Perfect for veterinary teams who want to combine environmental action with team building, Spogomi creates an engaging way to clean up your local community while strengthening bonds with colleagues!
