Join Vets for Climate Action as we celebrate the incredible efforts of our Climate Care community this Zeroctober! The Zero Heroes Celebration Night recognises the veterinary professionals, clinics, and volunteers leading the way in sustainability, from reducing waste and emissions to inspiring climate action in their communities.

It’s an evening of recognition, reflection, and connection as we toast to the people making a real difference for animals, people, and the planet.

This special night brings together our Climate Care community to reflect on the progress we’ve made, share inspiring stories of innovation, and celebrate the individuals and teams driving real, measurable change in their workplaces and beyond.

From small but mighty sustainability improvements to bold leadership in emissions reduction, our Zero Heroes have demonstrated creativity, collaboration, and compassion — the values at the heart of climate action in veterinary practice.

We’ll announce our Zero Hero Awards, including:

• Outstanding Individual Effort Award – recognising exceptional personal commitment to sustainability
• Sustainable Practice Award – celebrating clinics leading the way in climate-smart operations
• Innovation Award – highlighting creative and practical solutions to reduce waste or emissions
• Team Spirit Award – recognising the power of collaboration in driving change
