The Australian Veterinary Environmental Alliance (AVEA), formerly known as Vets for Climate Action, is looking for a small team of volunteer admins to help keep our organisation running smoothly behind the scenes.

This isn't one role for one person. We're looking for multiple volunteers, each contributing what they can each week: whether that's a regular couple of hours, or stepping in during busy periods. However it works for you, we'll make it work for us.

What you'll do

You'll help manage our shared inbox, draft routine correspondence, maintain contact lists and volunteer records, and keep our files organised across Google Workspace. You won't be starting from scratch. We have existing templates and processes to help you hit the ground running.

About you

You're organised, reliable and comfortable working independently. You write clearly and warmly, handle information with discretion, and use good judgement about what needs attention. Experience in administration or a similar role is helpful but enthusiasm and the right skills matter more than a specific background.
