VfCA writes to the Prime Minister and Victorian Premier regarding the future of Australia’s native forests

VfCA Chair, Dr Jeannet Kessels, and former Chief Veterinary Officer, Dr Andrew Turner, have written to both the Prime Minister and Victorian Premier regarding the future of Australia's native forest ecosystems.

They expressed their concern regarding he level and widespread occurrence of the logging and clearing of native forests and its impact on our animals and environment. They noted in particular the clearing in the Central Highlands of Victoria and Gippsland, and in the Pillaga and are seeking a response on what their governments will do to curb the activities.
