VfCA is proudly partnering with Australian Veterinary Receptionist Association
Vets for Climate Action is thrilled to announce its partnership with the Australian Veterinary Receptionist Association.
We represent concerned vets, vet nurses, vet receptionists, vet techs, animal carers, pet owners and animal lovers who want strong and immediate action on climate.
We support AVRA’s mission to recognise and raise the status of veterinary receptionists within the profession, and we recognise the important role that a reception team has in a veterinary practice.
Vet receptionists also play a vital role in supporting sustainability in practice - from printing and waste management, to sustainable procurement and providing feedback that influences clinics’ processes. CEO Steff Goldring said “From first to last contact with clients, vet receptionists are often the face (or voice) of the veterinary profession. Vet receptionists are trusted communicators and the perfect people to join the call for action on climate change.”
Vets for Climate Action and AVRA are deeply aligned in our commitment to positive change, and to inspire and educate the veterinary community. We look forward to working with AVRA and Australia’s vet receptionists to promote sustainable veterinary care and advocate for urgent action on climate change to protect the animals we love and care for.
