Nobel laureate, Professor Peter Doherty, said today that veterinarians have an important role to play in climate action to reduce the effects of climate change on animals, people and the environment. Professor Doherty said that ‘Human activity is the primary cause for the acceleration of climate change and this constitutes a global emergency.’
