2. Use clear signage — pictures speak louder

A good sign can be read from 5 metres away, uses images alongside words, and always pairs a recycling bin with a landfill bin. The sea turtle tangled in plastic didn't get there because someone meant harm — it got there because the right choice wasn't made obvious enough. When sorting is easy, contamination drops, recovery rates rise, and less ends up costing you in landfill fees.
