You're invited to learn how to write a successful opinion piece. Hosted by Jan Chessell, former journalist with the Sydney Morning Herald, the training will cover:

• the overarching structure of an op-ed to appeal to editors
• the messaging we must convey to ensure our position on an issue lands - what is our ask?
• other external factors to be considered before pitching an opinion piece
• Nuts and bolts of an opinion piece - word length, language, sentence structure etc
