About the Presenter:
Erica Honey is on a mission to build a resilient and sustainable veterinary community by growing veterinary leadership, reconstructing culture, and preparing veterinary teams for emergencies and disasters. Erica has master's degrees in; Emergency Management, Human Resources, and Business Administration. Erica also has qualifications in veterinary nursing, biomedical science, policy and development. Her research has assessed animal emergency planning globally to assist WA’s State arrangements in Western Australia and veterinary disaster management in Australia. Her knowledge and experience in the veterinary industry, and emergency services, give Erica a deep understanding of resilience and sustainability from a one health-one welfare perspective.
