In this Masterclass we welcomed Dr Anna Dengate, small animal internal medicine specialist, Founder & CEO of For the Love of Dogs Academy, and specialist consultant with The Vet’s North, as the presenter for our June Masterclass.

Anna brings a unique perspective to veterinary practice, grounded in her passion for the human-animal-environment connection that is at the heart of general practice. Through her work, she is dedicated to supporting veterinary teams to deliver outstanding care — not just for animals, but for their people and the wider environment.

In this session, Anna guided us through how veterinary practices can apply environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles, tools often used by large corporations — to strengthen purpose, communication, and even business outcomes in the vet sector. This Masterclass is an opportunity to reflect on how we define our roles, our responsibilities, and the positive impact we can have beyond the clinic walls.
