In September 2020, the Australian Government announced their plan to reverse the COVID-19 induced recession by providing support to, and pumping more investment into the gas industry. Here at VfCA, we are steadfastly against a fossil fuel driven recovery plan. When the government sought consultation on the National Gas Infrastructure Plan (NGIP) and establishing Wallumbilla as Australia’s Gas Hub, we added our voice to the opposition of the plan.
