2024 Christmas Raffle Terms and Conditions

1. Promoter

The promoter of this raffle is Veterinarians for Climate Action Ltd, ABN 16 636 944 191, 1/21 Technology Drive, Augustine Heights QLD 4300.

2. Eligibility

  • This raffle is open to individuals aged 18 years and over.
  • Employees of Vets for Climate Action and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
  • Participants must be residents of Australia.

3. Permit Information

  • This raffle is conducted in accordance with the ACT, NSW, NT, QLD, SA, TAS, VIC and WA gaming laws.
  • Permit number as required by WA is [NUMBER].

4. Raffle Period

  • The raffle starts on Monday, 25 November 2024 at 03.00AM AEDT / 02.00AM AEST / 00.00AM AWST and ends on Friday, 20 December 2024 at 15.00PM AEDT / 14.00 AEST / 12.00PM AWST. 
  • Tickets purchased outside this period will not be valid.

5. Ticket Information

  • Ticket prices are 1 x $20, 3 x $50, or 6 x $100
  • Tickets can be purchased on the Vets for Climate Action website: https://www.vfca.org.au/vfca2024_christmas_raffle

6. Prizes

  • The total prize pool is valued at approximately AUD $3000.
  • First Prize includes:

  • Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable for cash unless stated otherwise.

7. Draw Details

  • The draw will take place on Friday, 20 December 2024 at 16.00PM AEDT / 15.00PM AEST / 13.00PM AWST. 
  • The winner(s) will be selected via random draw. 

8. Notification of Winners

  • Winners will be notified by phone and email after the random draw on Friday, 20 December 2024.
  • Winners' names will also be published on the Vets for Climate Action website and social media (Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram) after the draw on Friday, 20 December 2024. 

9. Claiming Prizes

  • Winners must claim their prize by Tuesday, 24 December 2024 at 16.00PM AEDT / 15.00PM AEST / 13.00PM AWST
  • If a prize is not claimed within this period, the promoter reserves the right to conduct a redraw on Tuesday, 24 December 2024 at 16.30PM AEDT / 15.30PM AEST / 13.30PM AWST

10. Refund Policy

  • No refunds will be issued after tickets are purchased unless required by law.

11. Privacy

  • The promoter collects participants' personal information to conduct the raffle. You can review our Privacy Policy here. 
  • Personal information will not be shared with third parties without consent, except where required by law.

12. Liability

  • The promoter is not responsible for any lost, late, or misdirected tickets or entries.
  • The promoter is not liable for any loss or damage incurred in connection with the prizes.

13. Disputes

  • Any disputes relating to this raffle will be resolved in accordance with the laws of Queensland, Australia.

14. Cancellation or Modification

  • The promoter reserves the right to modify or cancel the raffle if unforeseen circumstances arise.

15. Acceptance of Terms

  • By purchasing a ticket, participants agree to these terms and conditions.
