Climate change is hurting the animals we love. It's hurting the animals we care for. It's hurting the animals we need.
In the last few years we've seen:
- 3 billion animals killed or displaced by the 2019-2020 bushfires
- Hundreds of thousands of livestock lost in devastating floods
- Repeated mass bleaching of the iconic Great Barrier Reef.
The veterinary and broader animal care community are devastated about the impacts of climate change on animals.
And we have a duty to speak up.
Whether you're a vet working on dairy farms in rural Victoria, a vet nurse treating beloved pets at a small animal clinic in Sydney or a wildlife carer protecting Western grey kangaroos in WA, your voice will make a difference.
The more signatures we have, the more impact we'll have. Your support will back VfCA volunteers as they work with our industry bodies, negotiate with vet industry companies and lobby politicians.
For a safe and healthy future for all animals.
